Vladimir Vulevic (b. 1984, Priboj, Serbia) is a filmmaker and writer based in Berlin, Germany. He graduated Literature studies at the University of Belgrade, and Film studies at HFBK Hamburg, University of Fine Arts.

Vulevic has directed four short films: Larva, Pupa (2017), Your Rooms, White and Purple (2019), How I Beat Glue and Bronze (2020), and Dancing Bears (2026). His films have been presented at numerous international film festivals and exhibitions. Larva, Pupa received the DAAD Prize, while How I Beat Glue and Bronze premiered in the Official International Competition of Pardi di Domani at the Locarno Film Festival in 2020. The film subsequently screened at festivals including Vienna Shorts, Filmfest Dresden, FEKK Ljubljana, Riga International Film Festival, Thessaloniki International Film Festival, Zagreb Film Festival, Japanese-Serbian Film Festival, Kustendorf, Dhaka International Short Film Festival, and others. It received several awards, including Best Short Fiction Film at the Auteur Film Festival in Belgrade, Best Short Film at Martovski Festival, Best Short Fiction Film at Filmfest Dresden, and Best Short Fiction Film at the Festival Internazionale Segni della Notte and Athens Short Film Festival, as well as several special mentions.

As a writer, Vulevic has published a novel, Little Murat. He has also published two verse dramas, Remembrance from Formaldehyde (2010) and Ananke Ferdidurke (2012). In addition to his work as a director and writer, he has co-written three feature films. Vulevic has also worked as an actor, appearing in Angela Schanelec's My Wife Cries, Helena Wittmann's Human Flowers of Flesh, and Olga Kosanović's Land der Berge. His work moves between cinema and literature, combining his background in writing with an interest in contemporary, formally distinctive filmmaking.
