Echoes of Europe: The Role of Music in Shaping Identity

We are pleased to announce the upcoming Moving Classics: Sonic Bridges seminar, taking place 16–17 October 2026 at ARTE Music Academy in Nicosia, Cyprus

This seminar brings together interdisciplinary perspectives to explore music as a key medium through which European identities are constructed, expressed, and transmitted. Discussions will examine how musical traditions reflect cultural heritage, social memory, and processes of representation across Europe, offering participants a rich, cross-disciplinary look at the relationship between sound and identity.
