Adnan Softić is an artist and filmmaker based in Berlin. Together with Nina Softić, he forms studio softic, whose collaborative practice investigates the relationship between aesthetics and politics / ecology. Their working process is a hybrid of poetic and philosophico-scientific explorations. They pursue a research-based and interdisciplinary work that is located in art, film, music and theatre as well as in academic contexts.

In recent years, their joint works have been presented in exhibitions and screenings at prominent venues such as the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, silent green in Berlin, Budapest Galéria, n.b.k. Berlin, to name but a few. Their project KLIMATON ARCTIC received a special mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 2023 in the Digital Music and Sound Art category.
